Chempower Australia
Chempower Australia is a family-owned company, manufacturing and distributing high quality chemical cleaning and hygiene solutions to industry professionals.
In 1999, we opened a warehouse in Marrickville, in Sydney’s inner west. We were blending small batches of chemicals, relying on a unique background in the textile industry. At times, Director Tony Malakellis was the only one on staff.
Back then, Chempower Australia had something to prove. We knew our products were good. We knew we were making big promises. But we also knew we could back them up.
Our initial focus was on commercial laundry solutions. More than 50,000 tonnes of ‘cleaner, whiter, brighter’ linen, towels, uniforms and blankets are now cleaned using Chempower Australia’s products every year. That’s a lot of crisp, white tablecloths!
50,000t Linen
In 2003, we expanded to include solutions for food service and hospitality, food manufacturing, professional housekeeping and janitorial companies, and aged care facilities.
A lot has changed in the past 20 years, but some things have remained the same.
Chempower Australia is still family owned. (Sure, we’ve got a few more people on board, but our staff are pretty much family.) We’re still operating from Marrickville but in a larger warehouse, a few blocks from our original premises. We’re still blending our own commercial cleaning products. (The vats are certainly larger.) And we’re still making big claims about our products. (They really are world class)
We still think we’ve got something to prove. So, if we make a promise, we deliver.
World class commercial cleaning and hygiene solutions for professionals, backed by responsive, personalised service. It’s that simple.
